Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._ LabCorp is seeking a **Phlebotomist** to join our team in **Gilbert******,** AZ **at South Higley Road, Gilbert, AZ 85298 **Work Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and rotating Saturdays as business needs require; additional days/hours as needed **Job Responsibilities:** * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications:** * Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist * Drawing on pediatrics **Additional Job Standards:** * In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Flexibility to work overtime as needed At Labcorp, we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
