Collect clinical laboratory specimens
Perform patient registration
Perform waived testing

Collect other specimens
Explain collection procedures
Clarify pre-analytical test requirements
Perform requisitions lab orders
Verify billing information

Exhibit excellent customer relations

Maintain knowledge of specimen requirements
Maintain knowledge of collection devices
Maintain adequate inventory of supplies
