**Job Description Summary** The philanthropy writer serves chiefly as a proposal writer for the MUSC Foundation, with additional responsibilities outlined below. This role is part of the Foundation’s development team and reports to the senior principal-initiatives writer. Responsibilities include gathering information and using this information to write and produce compelling proposals in support of fundraising initiatives; writing content demonstrating the impacts of philanthropy on MUSC and the people it serves; and writing senior-level donor correspondences.
