**Position Overview:** Remedies Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with experience using PrimeRx pharmacy software. The ideal candidate will assist with prescription processing, refill management, insurance-related tasks, and communication with healthcare providers to ensure patients receive timely and accurate service. **Key Responsibilities:** * Enter and process prescription information accurately in PrimeRx. * Manage and process automatic prescription refills for patients. * Contact physicians' offices to obtain prior authorizations and prescription approvals. * Verify prescription information and ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures. * Assist pharmacists with prescription workflow and patient support. * Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. * Resolve prescription-related issues and follow up on pending requests. * Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations. * Support daily pharmacy operations and administrative tasks as needed. **Requirements** * Previous Pharmacy Technician experience required. * Experience using PrimeRx pharmacy software strongly preferred. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescriptions. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Experience handling prior authorizations and insurance-related pharmacy processes is a plus. * Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and prescription workflow.
