**Southfield - Specialty Pharmacy Patient Management Program - Full time, rotating day shift 8:30-5:00** **About the Unit** Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements. Provides safe, effective, rational, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs. **Scope of Work** Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions. Within the Hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine. Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required. Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department. **Qualifications** * Required A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED. * Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
