Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program, Met Board of Pharmacy requirements to obtain registration, PHRMTECHR-Registered Pharmacy Technician, PHARMT-Pharmacy Technician, PHARMC-Certified Pharmacy Technician, PHARMI-Pharmacy Intern, 1 year of recent relevant experience, Knowledge of medical terminology, Knowledge of generic and trade pharmaceutical names, Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, Knowledge of laws and regulations, Knowledge and understanding of different Pharmacy practice settings, Knowledge of narcotic delivery and procedures, Knowledge and ability to identify and employ pharmaceutical and medical terms, abbreviations, and symbols commonly used in prescribing, dispensing, and record keeping of medications, Basic working knowledge of legal requirements and accreditation standards, Knowledge of The Joint Commission, Knowledge of Title XXII, Knowledge of Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Knowledge of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Knowledge of United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Written communication skills, Verbal communication skills, Well-developed time management skills, Organizational skills, Ability to prioritize assignments, Ability to work within standardized operating procedures, Ability to work within scientific methods, General knowledge of computer applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Related pharmaceutical technology, EHR, EPIC

What You'll Do.

Process and submit prior authorizations

Assist patients in obtaining financial aid

Ensure compliance with accreditation standards

Manage cold chain packaging

Coordinate shipping and track deliveries

Support specialty pharmacy patients

Coordinate with pharmacy and clinic teams

Ensure proper stock levels

Timely replenishment of medication inventory

Work with pharmacists and healthcare providers

Ensure seamless patient care

Facilitate communication between clinic and pharmacy

Participate in team meetings
