What You'll Do.
Perform functions related to preparation
Rotate through IV admixture and unit dose service
Rotate to OR Pharmacy Services
Rotate to Outpatient Pharmacy Services
Perform record keeping functions
Fill medication orders
Prepare and dispense injectable medications
Prepare and dispense topical medications
Prepare and dispense intravenous admixtures
Assist in bulk manufacturing of special pharmaceutical products
Prepare and distribute floor stock items
Inventory and restock shelves
Check for outdated drugs
Enter charges and credits for dispensed medications
Document dispensed medications
Document IV solutions dispensed
Distribute prepared medications to patient care areas
Distribute prepared medications to other departments
Assist at Pharmacy window
Maintain work area in a safe manner
Maintain work area in an orderly manner
Follow clean room (797) guidelines
Prepare intravenous admixtures
