What You'll Do.
Perform functions related to preparation
Rotate through IV admixture and unit dose service
Rotate to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy
Perform data entry and record keeping
Fill medication orders including oral
Prepare intravenous admixtures
Assist in bulk manufacturing of special pharmaceutical products
Prepare and distribute floor stock items
Inventory and restock shelves
Check for outdated drugs
Enter charges and credits for dispensed medications
Document medications and IV solutions returned
Distribute prepared medications to patient care areas
Perform necessary record keeping functions
Assist at Pharmacy window
Maintain work area in a safe
Follow appropriate clean room (797) guidelines
