What You'll Achieve.
make sure patients and departments get the right medications on time and are charged correctly; organizes daily tasks for maximum efficiency; so that quality drugs and supplies are always available; support quality improvement and departmental objectives
Industry & Context.
Third shift, 7 days on and 7 days off, 9pm to 7:30am
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Nice to Have
Diploma or associate's degree in pharmacy technology preferred, Sterile compounding experience is strongly preferred, One-year previous pharmacy experience preferred, PTCB technician certification (CPhT) preferred, North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration required within 30 days of employment, PTCB/NHA technician certification (CPhT) within 18 months of employment or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited Pharmacy School
What You'll Do.
Intravenous admixture preparation
small and large volume parenteral admixtures
Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) solutions using proper aseptic technique
Deliver medications as needed
prepare and process medication orders
keep medicine stock in good condition
Offers pharmacy services in patient care areas
Keeps knowledge and skills up to date
Set personal goals to support quality improvement and departmental objectives
Provides care tailored to different age groups as per Age Specific Care Guidelines
