Every other weekend rotation, Holiday rotation, Sit, stand, walk, lift, bend, kneel, climb, twist, crawl, reach, Push mobile cart (50 lbs), Lift material (35 lbs), Functional vision, touch, hearing, Speak and be understood, Exposure to chemicals, Exposure to hazardous waste, Exposure to blood, Exposure to body fluids, Exposure to communicable disease, Fine motor motion of hands/wrists, Avoid needle sticks, Avoid minor cuts, Avoid bruises, Walking on hard surfaces, Climbing stairs, Changes in temperature, Changes in humidity, Operate necessary equipment, Travel between pharmacy locations

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High School Diploma or GED, No experience required, Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy, Certification through Pharmacy Technician Board or NHA within 18 months

Nice to Have

Immunization certification

What You'll Do.

Assist licensed pharmacist in technical duties

Prepare and label medications

Prepare hazardous drugs

Prepare controlled substances

Assist with medication distribution

Assist in daily pharmacy procurement

Assist in inventory control

Assist in outdate checking

Document controlled substance removal

Document controlled substance stocking

Document controlled substance wasting

Perform nonsterile compounding

Perform sterile IV admixture

Inspect medication storage areas

Complete medication admission histories

Seek additional duties

Accept other duties as assigned

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Assist in training pharmacy technicians

Abide by organization policies

Comply with legal standards

Comply with regulatory standards

Comply with accreditation standards

Obtain patient demographic information

Record patient information

Enter data into pharmacy system

Develop competence in third-party billing

Provide care appropriate to patient age

Perform immunizations

Operate motor vehicle for deliveries

Deliver medical supplies
