Must Have
Michigan Pharmacy Technician Licensure required
Nice to Have
some college preferred with an aptitude for mathematical calculation, Retail pharmacy and/or infusion pharmacy, claim reconciliation or accounting background helpful
What You'll Do.
Dispense and compound medications
Provide quality patient care
enter and interpret physician orders
Compound complex sterile products
Follow departmental procedures
Input customer and prescription data
Create prescription labels
Retrieve medication for dispensing
Prepare Compounded Sterile Products
Handle pharmaceuticals
Handle telephone inquiries
Assist in resolving issues
Enter customer purchases
Enter physician orders
Check patient profiles
Charge and credit patients
Maintain drug inventories
Accept telephone prescriptions
Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions

Team & Collaboration
working together to understand and address your needs; under supervision of pharmacist; under the direct or indirect supervision of a Pharmacist; review by a Pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional
