Full Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Pharmacy Technician** to join the team in our **McCauleys pharmacy in Cavan.** This is a **16-hour permanent role.** The stores' opening hours operate between **9 am****to 6 pm Monday to Saturday and are closed on Sunday.** The team currently comprises a **Managing Pharmacist, 2 Technicians role and 2 Healthcare Advisors.** This store has**manageable items and services.** **We can offer you:** * Competitive Hourly rates * Great Colleague Discount * Bike to work scheme * Uniform provided **The responsibilities of the role** * Be accurate with excellent attention to detail. * To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner. * Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements. * Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims. * Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. **Requirements:** * Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply. * Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage). * IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy * Technician Studies an advantage ** _If you would be interested in being considered for current or future vacancies within a pharmacist role, please apply or declare your interest to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Danielle Gillen at DGillen @uniphar.ie_**
