What They're Looking For.
Must Have
H. S. diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1 year of pharmacy or any combination of education and experience, Current State Pharmacy Tech, Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) required
Nice to Have
Two years of retail pharmacy experience, Previous experience working in specialty pharmacies, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, analytical skills
What You'll Do.
Interpret and data entry of basic prescriptions
Process prior authorization
Troubleshoot adjudication issues
Verify member information and input data
Educate members on pharmacy rules
Provide resolution to provider offices
Respond to inquiries from physicians
Generate documentations in patients’ accounts
Help deliver high-quality lifesaving pharmacy care
Process specialty prescriptions orders accurately
Work closely with pharmacists and providers offices
Contact healthcare providers offices to clarify prescription details
