What They're Looking For.
Must Have
comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, at least 16 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program, State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Nice to Have
1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting, Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs

solve or escalate patient problems
complete basic inventory activities
put away medication deliveries
complete cycle counts
complete returns-to-stocks
complete waiting bin inventories
contribute to a high-performing team
seek opportunities to expand knowledge
remain flexible for scheduling
travel to stores in the market
comply with all relevant laws
comply with CVS policies
ensure patient safety
ensure compliance with controlled substance dispensing
protect patient privacy and security
deliver additional patient health care services
support immunizations
complete additional licensure and training
obtain Technician Immunizer status
prepare and administer vaccines
educate patients about vaccines
refer patients to Pharmacist-on-duty
monitor for adverse reaction events
respond to adverse reporting
review and collect patient tracking
document for each applicable patient
monitor and manage vaccine supplies
