What You'll Do.
Assist in provision of pharmacy service
Contribute to day to day running of dispensary
Dispensing and checking prescriptions
Assisting training of staff
Ensure dispensary duties completed
Price and dispense out-patient prescriptions
Sell 'Pharmacy only' and GSL medicines
Maintain and store prescription documentation
Post charges appropriately
Participate in stock distribution function
Liaise with ward and department managers
Ensure ward stocks are kept at suitable levels
Ensure drugs are stored correctly
Ensure stock rotation and expiry date checking
Ensure efficient functioning of Pyxis

With advanced simulation labs, XR and VR tech, and digital training environments, it’s where we’re shaping the future of healthcare The pharmacy service is open on Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 8pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2.30pm. **You’ll help us make health happen by:** A key member of the Pharmacy Team you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service which consistently meets the needs of all service users. You will contribute to the efficient day to day running of the dispensary, working under the supervision of a Senior Pharmacy Technician and receiving Pharmacist support. Responsibilities include dispensing and checking, patient counselling, stock management, assisting training of staff and ensuring dispensary duties are completed. All processes must be in line with legislation: CQC, Home Office, GPh.C, and MHRA and CH SOP standards. This role will be flexible between the pharmacy locations to ensure that a consistent high quality, effective and safe service is delivered to all our customers. Shifts will be rostered weekly to cover the current opening hours of pharmacy of 8am to 8pm with Saturday shifts to be covered 8:30-14:00 with subject to change if opening hours extended. * Price and dispense out-patient prescriptions in accordance with the law and hospital procedures
