Eligibility Requirements

Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods, Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently, Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms, Work may be in confined areas close to machinery, Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise, Work within USP 800 Hazardous Guidelines and other drug handling guidelines

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High School Diploma / GED required, State of Georgia Pharmacy Technician license required, 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy preferably within a retail/specialty pharmacy setting, Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a dispensing pharmacy setting, Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy production environment, Basic math skills and General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy and quality

Certification preferred

What You'll Do.

ensuring prescriptions are dispensed and shipped appropriately within corporate and regulatory guidelines

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond

Help manage and store inventory in correct and safe manner following USP Guidelines

Work with a skilled team to ensure patients get the medication they need in a timely manner

ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals

Delivers straight forward administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy

Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision
