Must Have
2 years work experience in pharmacy, Aseptic technique compliant with USP 797 and 800, Working knowledge of USP 795, Pharmacy Technician licensure by Maryland Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Nice to Have
Graduation from ASHP accredited or PTCB recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program, Previous experience with Cerner, Previous experience with Pyxis, Previous experience with Pharmogistics, Previous experience with Carousels
What You'll Do.
Prepare and deliver medication to Pyxis
Perform sterile compounding according to USP 797 and
Perform electronic documentation for sterile compounding
Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies
Perform inventory management cycle
Perform patient care unit inspections
Perform electronic documentation for inspections
Prepare and deliver medication to patient care
Restock automated dispensing units
Assess need for prepackaged medications
Prepare prepackaged oral solid medications
Prepare prepackaged liquid medications for dispensing
Perform Medication History assessments
