What You'll Achieve.
Ensures that the pharmacy department adheres to all regulatory bodies including, but not limited to the DEA, the FDA and applicable state Board of Pharmacy.; Oversees pharmacy staffing and scheduling to ensure safe patient care.; Ensures that policies and procedures promoting safe and effective use of medications are followed.; Assesses and improves the performance of the pharmacy services provided.; Provides an ongoing assessment of care and services provided through organizational processes.; Supervises daily preparation and dispensing of all pharmaceuticals.

Second shift, 10 hr shifts, 1130-2200 is the shift, every 4th weekend, Requires considerable walking, standing, pushing mobile cart of 50 pounds maximum and lifting 25 pounds of material., May be required to frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel to perform job., Exposure to cancer chemotherapy agents., Hazards are very minor such as minor cuts, bruises, and non-contaminated needle pricks., Exposed to various conditions throughout the workday such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs and changes in temperature and humidity., Must be able to perform manipulative skills such as writing, typing, and data entry into the computer and automated dispensing machines., Must have use of both hands, be able to see clearly and read small type such as that on unit-dose medication packages and syringes.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Licensed in the state of applicable state or eligible for reciprocity, 2 years of work related experience in pharmacy required
Nice to Have
Hospital Pharmacy experience is preferred

Makes decisions regarding employment

Evaluates pharmacy teammate job performances on an annual basis.
Ensures that the pharmacy department adheres to all regulatory bodies including
