What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5 years in a Data Analytics or Pricing focused role, Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent), Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, optimization)
Nice to Have
Master's degree in a quantitative field, PBM or Healthcare experience, Familiarity with GitHub/Version Control, Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira)
What You'll Do.
and refine complex pricing models in SQL and Looker
Automate and enhance the accuracy of client savings projections
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Develop and validate Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
Ensure pricing logic is aligned with broader company data architecture and product roadmaps
Contribute to the evolution of the Pricing Analytics codebase
Maintain a transparent project roadmap for pricing tool enhancements
Create detailed technical documentation for all pipelines and internal logic
Provide 'Tier 3' technical support to the Submission Pod
Step in for highly complex ad-hoc analyses or during peak volume periods
Execute deep-dive analyses and investigations into large datasets
Provide clear insights on findings
Develop a complete understanding of reporting needs
Scope projects and develop self-service BI reporting and automation
Continuously analyze and evaluate existing reporting processes
Identify inefficiencies or gaps
Proactively deploy creative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as the bridge between the Proposals teams and our Data, Engineering, and Operational departments; Coordinate directly with Data and Engineering teams; Work cross-functionally to scope projects; Willing to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; Capable of facilitating deep technical discussions with Engineers; Able to translate the 'why' to non-technical stakeholders
Communication Scope
Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external partners through email, Slack, phone, video call, and Jira; The ability to take a 'messy' business requirement from a Sales Lead and translate it into a clean, repeatable technical specification; Able to translate the 'why' to non-technical stakeholders
