What They're Looking For.
Must Have
PharmD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible within 90 days of hire, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), Completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification obtained within 90 days of hire (if administering immunizations), Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 2 Residency (PGY2) or fellowship OR completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY-1) and two years of experience as a Clinical Specialist or an equivalent role, including providing pharmaceutical care and performing pharmacotherapeutic monitoring for at least 50% of time in the specialty area OR four years of experience as a Clinical Specialist or an equivalent role, including providing pharmaceutical care and performing pharmacotherapeutic monitoring for at least 50% of time in the specialty area
Nice to Have
Board Certification, PGY-1 and 2–3 years of experience in Endocrinology Ambulatory Care or Primary Care OR PGY-2 in Ambulatory Care or Primary Care

Practicing at the top of license through collaborative practice agreements, this role provides advanced clinical pharmacy services for complex endocrine conditions, including diabetes management, insulin titration and advanced therapy optimization. The specialist builds longitudinal relationships with patients through individual and group visits, both in person and virtual, and utilizes technology-forward tools such as continuous glucose monitoring interpretation and insulin pump management.
