What You'll Do.
Perform insurance verification
Perform prescription processing
Review prescriptions for accuracy
Follow procedures during patient engagement
Decipher script needs
Setup medication deliveries
Verify medication deliveries
Coordinate prescription orders
Complete specialty claims processing
Process commercial claims
Process Medicare D claims
Process supplemental claims
Identify copay assistance cards
Match claims to copay cards
Apply copay cards to claims
Troubleshoot insurance problems
Assist in cross functional activities
Assist with patients’ needs
Assist with patients’ questions
Participate in Quality Improvement meetings
Participate in Assurance meetings
Participate in committees
Participate in ongoing projects
Participate in pharmacy projects
Participate in organizational projects
Perform patient outreach
Assess medication adherence
Identify medication deterrents
Check for medication changes
Check for medication discrepancies
Work within multiple computer systems
Connect patients with pharmacist
Ensure prompt response to patient
Perform other tasks as assigned
