Practice within federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements, Ensure all privacy requirements are met, Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed, Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy, Control access to the dispensary, Review and maintain Workflow Queues on a daily basis, Regular review of ‘will call’ bins, Review of stock to identify expired inventory, Oversight of current stock levels and medication orders, Ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances are met, Ensure entry/pickup workstations, counselling/waiting areas, and work islands reflect an appropriate image, Read and action store communications, File incident reports, Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed, Complete mandatory training
Nice to Have
personal computing skills and knowledge of Pharmacy systems a definite asset
What You'll Do.
Manage the operations of the Pharmacy
Provide consultation to customers
Provide consultation to health care providers
Practice to full scope in providing professional services
Assist in the maintenance of the dispensary
Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy
Provide counselling on prescriptions
Provide counselling on over the counterehind the counter products
Practice to full extent of expanded scope
Be clearly identifiable to the public
Communicate with other health care professionals
Control access to the dispensary
Review and maintain Workflow Queues
Regular review of ‘will call’ bins
Review of stock to identify expired inventory
Oversight of current stock levels
Oversight of medication orders
Ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances are met
Report to Health Canada
Report to regulatory bodies
Ensure workstations reflect an appropriate image
Ensure counselling areas reflect an appropriate image

Involvement with financial reports
