What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD, Maintains current license for pharmacist in the state(s) where practicing, Valid state issued ID, 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting, Experience in field of pharmacy practice
Nice to Have
Advanced pharmacy degree – Doctor of Pharmacy, Masters, Residency, Immunization Certified, 1 year of leadership experience, One year of experience in field of pharmacy practice, EPIC Electronic Health Record
What You'll Do.
Perform medication management activities
Ensure accurate preparation of products
Oversee distributive functions of pharmacy
Oversee pharmacy technicians and support personnel
Maintain responsibility for security of pharmacy inventory
and resolve adverse medication events
Perform medication education to improve patient understanding
Work collaboratively and effectively to communicate
Participate in departmental medication safety
