Must Have

Bachelor's degree, Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state, Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record is required, Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Nice to Have

Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after completion of an undergraduate college degree, Other work experience following the completion of undergraduate degree, or a graduate degree (e. g. , Masters, MBA, PharmD), Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results, Account based selling experience, Ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts, background in navigating within complex integrated health systems, Extensive experience or thorough understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model, Selling injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment, History of working with multiple cross functional partners, Learning agility, self-motivated, team focused, emotionally intelligent and influential, Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary

What You'll Do.

Account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence the treatment for the disease states represented in the Lilly gastroenterology portfolio

Engaging with HCPs in dedicated gastroenterology practices and infusion centers

as well as representatives in key hospital accounts

Building relationships with key customers in the gastroenterology space to increase Lilly’s ability to drive adoption of our new and existing therapies

Identifying and developing business relationships with state and local advocacy groups

teaching institutions

and managed care organizations

Developing an understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape

Utilizing appropriate business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs

Systematically navigating the ever-changing healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders

Planning for and engaging in a patient centered dialogue with customers

Utilizing our selling model prior to and during conversations with customers

Utilizing all business analytic resources available to meet the needs of customers and achieve sales goals

How You'll Work.
