Current registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA), Successful completion of a PSW program from an accredited community college, or a recent UHN approved private career, Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Nice to Have
Behavioral management training (such as PIECES, U-First, CPI), Acute care and/or previous rehab experience

[www.uhn.ca](https://www.uhn.ca/) Union: CUPE New or Replacement: New Site: Toronto General Hospital Department: Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) Reports to: Manager Wage Range: $31.70 - $32.61 per hour (start rate is non-negotiable and in accordance with collective agreement requirements) Hours: Up to 24 Hours per Week Shifts: Days/Evenings/Nights including Every Other Weekend Status: Permanent Part-Time Closing Date: June 4, 2026 Duties The Personal Support Worker (PSW) is a member of the inter-professional care team and is expected to maintain a collaborative and active working relationship with team members in the provision of patient care. Additionally, the PSW will be expected to: 1. Assist patients with activities of daily living: This includes feeding, lifts and transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting. 2. Perform tasks delegated by an RN or RPN in compliance with the RHPA for which appropriate education and training has been completed. RNs and RPNs
