What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent, Current CPR Certificate, Ability to work permanent night shifts, including weekends and short shifts, Ability to work an alternate shift(s) to meet operational needs, Successful applicants must provide a recent satisfactory vulnerable sector police reference check and medical clearance certificate
Nice to Have
Experience in long term care setting an asset, Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred, Behavioural management training (Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA), U-First, CPI) an asset, Computer literacy (Point Click Care, MS Office), Basic knowledge of Workday an asset, Ability to speak and converse in Chinese an asset
