Ability to handle daily mild to moderate physical exertion (i. e. constant standing, walking, climbing, reaching and frequent movement) on an occasional to frequent basis, Criminal Record Check may be required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Successful completion of a PSW program from an accredited community college or a recent UHN approved private career college, Current registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA), Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Acute care and/or previous surgical experience required
Nice to Have
Behavioral management training (such as PIECES, U-First, CPI)
What You'll Do.
Assist patients with activities of daily living
Perform tasks delegated by an RN
Communicate and demonstrate basic information
Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Complete and maintain related patient records

Team & Collaboration
Maintain a collaborative and active working relationship with team members in the provision of patient care.
