Full Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Permit Schedule Manager to join its Data Centre design team in Dublin, Ireland delivering design and permits for Datacenters, HV substations and Grid connections in existing and new jurisdictions across Europe, Middle East and Africa Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Creating, updating and maintaining site specific permitting schedules for all datacenter, HV substations and grid connections projects in the EMEA region. At project kick off chair an interactive permit preparation schedule development session to Liase with the Permitting and Design managers and Design Vendors to identify and schedule all planning permissions and permits associated with the design, construction, and operation of the project - projects include Datacenters, HV substations and grid connections in existing and new jurisdictions across Europe, Middle East and Africa Coordinate between internal and external project design teams weekly to track and update each project permitting schedule. Communicating the update to the project Design manager to report if all partner teams are performing their required actions at the appropriate time or if there are risks on permit items to be addressed. Identify opportunities to expedite permitting timelines Manage and update an overall EMEA permitting tracker, identifying risks and weekly reporting on these to management Manage active condition discharge and communicate active & passive permit conditions to operations at handover. Complete after-action reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement.
