Must Have
High school graduate or equivalent, Nursing Assistant or Nursing education, AHA BLS-HCP required within six months of employment, Effective interpersonal, communication and team working skills required, Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position, Must be able to fulfill fundamental components/essential elements of position
What You'll Do.
Perform basic and technical clinical services
Provide quality service through team oriented approach
Participate in delivery of perioperative nursing care
Prepare equipment and supplies for patient care
Collaborate with healthcare team members
Maintain assigned work areas and equipment
Transfer inoperable equipment for repair
Apply aseptic techniques in daily work
Clean selected equipment within department
Assist with case preparation
Assist in orientation of new employees
Perform patient care activities
Perform general cleaning and decontamination
Plan and participate in special projects
Assist in problem solving
Stock department supplies
Communicate with health care team
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team; Communicates with other members of the health care team; Assists in orientation of new employees to each work assignment areas and total department operations as needed and/or assigned; Also serves as a resource for other hospital departments
