Must Have
Diploma from vocational/technical school, 0-1 years experience, Prior radiology technologist experience, Knowledge of procedural details, ARRT certificate, Basic Life Support (BLS), License NJ Bureau of Radiological Health, Ability to communicate in English, Interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to perform diverse work assignments, Ability to use problem solving skills, Ability to use critical thinking skills, Ability to use priority setting skills
Nice to Have
Associates degree, 2-4 years experience, Experience with Standard Office Equipment, Experience with Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment
What You'll Do.
Manage delivery of care
Ensure patient safety
Prepare patients for procedures
Provide instructions to patients
Operate CR / Digital X-ray system
Operate imaging equipment
Perform Bone Density exams
Obtain patient history
Document patient history
Assess patients for risk factors
Ensure proper patient identification
Ensure proper demographics in PACS
Clarify Doctor’s orders
Scan needed information in PACS
Complete procedures within time frame
Produce quality diagnostic images
Maintain x-ray room cleanliness
Adhere to infection control standards
Perform QA/QC testing
Prioritize work assignments
Organize work assignments
Maintain order in work area
Maintain cleanliness in work area
Consult with other departments
Communicate with other departments
Plan delivery of care
Demonstrate awareness of Radiation Safety
Perform fluoroscopic procedures
Obtain patient information for fluoroscopy
Obtain chart notes for fluoroscopy
Document fluoroscopy time
Scan paperwork for Radiologist

Conduct routine quality control checks

Assesses patients for potential risk factors. * Ensures proper identification of patient and demographics in PACS. * Clarifies / follows Doctor’s orders and scans needed information in PACS. * Completes
