Must Have
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT (R) required, Advanced registry in Mammography (M) required, Current NJ State Radiographer License, Current BLS certification, 2+ years’ experience performing Mammography

Familiar with RIS and PACS System, Familiar with Electronic Medical Record System
What You'll Do.
Produce quality mammography images
Assume responsibility for patient safety
Utilize proper exposure and protective measures
Educate and explain procedures to patients
Follow departmental protocol
Obtain and document patient history
Document pertinent information
Ensure proper identification of patient
Verify patient demographics in PACS
Communicate with attending Radiologists
Verify provider orders
Adhere to infection control standards
Prioritize and organize work assignments
Adjust priorities based on business situations
Operate medical imaging equipment properly
Operate medical imaging equipment safely
Demonstrate awareness of Radiation Safety Procedures
Ensure equipment is in acceptable condition
Conduct routine quality control checks
Follow department protocols for screening mammograms
Follow department protocols for diagnostic mammograms
Follow regulatory guidelines
Perform QA/QC as mandated by ACR/MQSA
Follow mammography procedures for needle localizations
Follow mammography procedures for stereotactic biopsies
Demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations
Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA regulations
Demonstrate knowledge of HIPPA regulations
Deliver compassionate patient care
Adhere to ALARA principles
Deliver quality patient imaging
Deliver safe patient imaging
Maintain a safe work environment
Maintain a clean work environment
Maintain an orderly work environment
Attend departmental meetings
