ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring a People Operations Manager to own the operational backbone of our People function as we scale. We are looking for someone who treats People Ops as a craft: someone who builds clean systems, sweats the details, and runs the machine so well that employees and managers rarely have to think about it. This is a role with real ownership and real room to grow. You will take programs that exist but need sharpening and make them your own, with the autonomy to redesign and run them. You will partner closely with the Head of People. As Sydecar scales, this role scales with it. WHAT YOU WILL OWN - Onboarding and offboarding. Own the full new-hire experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, and run a smooth, compliant offboarding process. Continuously improve both based on feedback and what breaks as we scale. - HRIS and systems. Own our HRIS and People tech stack (we run Rippling & Lattice) as the source of truth. Keep data clean, build and maintain workflows, and make our systems do more of the wor
