What They're Looking For.

Must Have

1 to 2 years of experience in HR Operations, Compensation and Benefits, or a related field, Proven experience with people operations fundamentals, including I-9 verification, onboarding workflows, HRIS data entry, and HR compliance basics, Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and staying composed when priorities shift, Able to apply discretion to sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality, Comfortable interacting with and supporting employees at all levels of the organization, Willing to work in person from our Midtown Manhattan office 5 days a week

A genuine interest in the people function and a desire to grow within HR and people operations, Self-starter with natural curiosity and a motivation to problem-solve and troubleshoot

What You'll Do.

Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires

Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout their onboarding journey

Prepare and distribute onboarding materials

Own the updating and management of new hire training materials and live sessions

Collaborate with IT to ensure new hires have system access set up

and conduct laptop setup sessions

Manage transactions in our HRIS

Maintain accurate employee and company records

Draft employment verification letters

and other employment-related correspondence

Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements

Support immigration processes and documentation

Assist with auditing HR data

Support compensation and benefits administration

Serve as a reliable first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies

and general people operations

Support managers with people-related processes

Help coordinate and track performance management cycles

Assist with sensitive employee situations

Manage company swag inventory and coordinate distribution

Coordinate employee recognition efforts

Help plan and execute in-office culture programming and company social events

Assist teams and managers with ad-hoc requests

Contribute to fostering a strong

positive company culture

Support HR-related projects

and other teams on cross-functional people initiatives

Assist with building and documenting scalable HR processes

Take on stretch projects and ad-hoc assignments
