What You'll Do.

implementation and delivery of the retirement plans and benefits programmes and processes

resolution of any escalated retirement and benefits issues

ensuring that retirement plans and benefit programmes are delivered in a manner that is compliant with all applicable internal governance standards and external staying up to date with applicable legislative and regulatory changes

Communication and engagement to educate employees and managers on the available retirement and benefit options

Market research and the development of appropriate retirement and benefits strategy

administration and compliance

engagement and management of external vendors/ stakeholders

provision of advice and counsel to employees and people leaders

Oversight and governance to all cost elements relevant to the provision of the retirement and benefits

advising and influencing decision making

contributing to policy development

taking responsibility for operational effectiveness

leading a team performing complex tasks

setting objectives and coaching employees

appraisal of performance

determination of reward outcomes

leading collaborative assignments

guiding team members through structured assignments

identifying the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation

identifying new directions for assignments and/or projects

consulting on complex providing advice to People Leaders

identifying ways to mitigate risk

support the management and delivery of the Bank’s global pension strategy

taking a lead role in the governance and design of the Bank’s European and Middle East pension plans

support global pension project activity

provide technical support to UK projects and financial reporting

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions; Lead a team performing complex tasks; Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives; If the position has leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard; for an individual contributor, they will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments; identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments; identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying a combination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required outcomes; Consult on complex providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues; Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function; Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy; driving collaborative working across teams
