What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Registered Peer Support Specialist certification through the Virginia Board of Counseling at the Department of Health Professions
Nice to Have
Associates degree within a professional Human Services discipline
What You'll Do.
Provide lived experience expertise and interact with multi-disciplinary treatment team
Maintain regular contact with referral sources as indicated
Update on consumer’s participate in regularly scheduled treatment team meetings
Prepare and conduct reviews with referral sources
Medical record documentation and documentation of all client or peripheral contacts
Provide transportation for clients to access community resources
Emergency services duty on rotation that may include commitment procedures
after hour assessments
and hospital diversion
Other duties as assigned
