What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid driver's license required, CPR/First Aid Certification required within 30 days of employment, Maintain in good standing, a Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of hire, Demonstrates a clear understanding of confidentiality protocols, Adheres to privacy laws/organizational policies regarding sensitive information, Recognizes professional boundaries, Identifies potential conflicts of interests
Nice to Have
Completion of accredited Peer Specialist training program highly preferred, Bi-lingual English-Spanish and/or ASL preferred, Prior peer mentoring experience highly preferred, Prior and/or ongoing recovery activity
What You'll Do.
Provide mentorship and support to clients
Build skills in goal setting
Build skills in problem solving
Facilitate counseling for clients in recovery
Facilitate activities for clients in recovery
Help clients coordinate integrated services
Help clients navigate integrated services
Transport clients to scheduled appointments
Escort clients to scheduled appointments
Foster trusting relationships with clients
Ensure services provided are timely
Ensure services aligned to individual goals
Perform ongoing client outreach
Monitor needs that are recovery-oriented
Ensure timely recording of services
Ensure accurate recording of services
Maintain complete up-to-date charts
