North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCPA, BLS, ACLS and PALS required, Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) required, North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license, Nurse Practitioner license, Board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Board certified as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Nice to Have
Physician Assistant Master's Degree preferred, Prior provider experience preferred, Nurse Practitioner Master's Program completion, Acute Care Certified PNPs
What You'll Do.
Perform comprehensive examinations
Support infusion coverage
Support clinic coverage
Use medical decision making skills
Determine appropriate patient care plan
Collaborate with medical team
Order laboratory studies
Order diagnostic procedures
Interpret laboratory studies
Interpret diagnostic procedures
Explain diagnostic procedures to patient
Explain therapeutic procedures to patient
Perform procedural skills
Participate in research projects
