We're committed to giving children back their childhood! **Job Posting Title:** Pediatric Developmental Disabilities (Advanced Practice Provider) **Location:** Dallas - Hospital **Additional Posting Details:** Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm **Job Description:** # ******Duties/Responsibilities****** # ******Clinical Care Excellence****** * Demonstrates advanced medical knowledge of pediatric developmental disabilities, complex care management, and behavioral health, alongside a foundational understanding of related orthopedic conditions and surgical interventions. * Functions as a core clinical provider within the Pediatric Developmental Disabilities multidisciplinary team to establish diagnoses and manage comprehensive, ongoing care for children with complex neurodevelopmental and chronic health conditions. * Orders and reviews routine diagnostic studies and laboratory tests under physician oversight to provide comprehensive workup, care coordination, and non-operative management of children with neurodevelopmental complexities; additionally, engages in specialized training to directly administer and interpret neurodevelopmental assessments. * Balances the completion of comprehensive clinic notes that capture patient complexity with the necessary behind-the-scenes administrative work—including Letters of Medical Necessity (LMNs) and state support forms—required to advocate for and secure patient services. * Collaborates across multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and facilitate connections with specialized community, educational, and state resources for children with special health care needs. * Acts as a resource navigator by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of community, state, and digital support systems for children with complex needs. * Working hours may vary and may include occasional long days, depending on the needs of the team. # # **Research and Quality Improvement (QI)** * Engages in clinic
