By covering nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions, you will support exceptional patient health outcomes. In this role you will hone your clerical and communication skills, develop age-appropriate nursing care expertise, and collaborate to support patient care and services. **Responsibilities** * You will perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital * You will assist in basic nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions * Apply your strong interpersonal skills when providing care for patients across a diverse spectrum of ethnic and social groups * Collaborate with health care practitioner or registered nurse for comprehensive quality care **Requirements** * High school graduate or equivalent preferred * Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven (7) days of hire) * Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire * Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure * Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible * MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R * Current BLS Certification * Recent bed side care experience in a health care environment **About Tacoma General Hospital** MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, in the heart of Tacoma, WA, is a 367-bed regional medical center delivering c
