Full Job Description

**About the Role** We’re looking for a Temporary Payroll Team Leader to join our Payroll team at DS Smith’s Business Service Centre in Caerphilly. This is a key role that focuses on everyday duties around payroll and compliance, and also includes a team leadership element so that you can continue to develop your management skills. You’ll be responsible for processing monthly payroll of employees, ensuring tax commitments are accurate, and overseeing the preparation and distribution of payslips to employees throughout the UK. You’ll ensure relevant paperwork is processed in a timely manner, supervise payroll account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies so that we can remain confident that we’re operating at a high standard. As a Team Leader, we’ll also be asking you to be a primary point of contact for the business and a source of information so that queries can be resolved quickly and stakeholders can become more knowledgeable.
