Our client is a world-renowned animation studio with over 50 years of experience creating award-winning family entertainment. They are currently producing high-profile global projects and maintain a creative, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. They are now seeking to hire a **Payroll Support Officer** to provide dedicated administrative support to their Sydney-based Senior Payroll Officer. This role is responsible for high-volume payroll processing, ensuring timesheet accuracy, and maintaining employee data to support the finance department. **Job/Role Responsibilities** * Collect and monitor weekly timesheets to ensure timely submission and manager approval. * Accurately enter payroll data into the ERP system, including new hires, tax declarations, and bank changes. * Update and track leave requests against employee entitlements. * Assist in the initial validation of pay runs to check for missing data or entry errors. * Prepare administrative paperwork for new starters and process basic termination data. * Run weekly and monthly system reports, such as payroll summaries and leave balances. * Gather information to assist in resolving basic employee payroll enquiries. * Help prepare data files for quarterly Superannuation contributions. * Ensure all payroll records are filed digitally in compliance with data privacy standards. ### **Requirements** * 2–4 years of experience in a payroll, accounting, or data-entry focused role. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and table formatting. * Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify numerical errors quickly. * Good written and verbal English skills for effective team collaboration. * High level of comfort learning new software and ERP systems. * Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in a payroll environment. ### Nice-to-Have Skills * Previous experience supporting an Australian company. * Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems. **Benefit
