About the Role: The Payroll Specialist supports the Company’s payroll functions. This role must be able to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, multi-task, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The position reports directly to the Finance Manager. Responsibilities: Review timecards, time off, salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions to ensure accuracy for payroll processing in UKG. Process payroll on biweekly, monthly, and off-cycle schedules with approval from the Finance Manager. Answer employee or HR questions related to pay, taxes, time off, and employee benefits. Provide payroll reporting to HR and Finance. Maintain voluntary and non-voluntary deductions and allocations in employee records. Work with Finance Manager on year-end tasks. Partner with Finance Manager on information systems, onboarding, offboarding and related tasks. Assist Finance Manager and HR in state, federal, and local payroll compliance related to payroll tax, time keeping, time off, earnings and deductions. Maintain internal systems by partnering with leaders within Finance and cross-departmental to support the company growth.
