Industry & Context.
Workweeks over forty (40) hours may be required, Work in an office setting, Frequent visits to the production floor required, Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, Ability to lift and carry items up to twenty-five (25) pounds, Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 - 5 years of progressive experience in high-volume payroll processing, Demonstrated expertise in multi-state and local payroll tax administration, Proficient experience with a major HRIS system, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation, Paylocity experience
What You'll Do.
Process weekly payroll
Process and reconcile payrolls
Verify payroll-related data
Process and remit deductions
Ensure timely reporting of hours
Complete 401k & HSA reconciliation
Ensure compliance with tax laws
Manage tax filings and remittances
Manage tax registrations
Reconcile quarterly 941s
Execute year-end payroll activities
Co-manage payroll and tax modules
Identify process improvements
Resolve payroll queries
Prepare audit reports
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with Finance; Work with COE local HR; Serve as subject matter expert; Resolve queries from employees and HR partners
Communication Scope
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to clearly explain complex tax and payroll concepts
