What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 - 5 years’ payroll processing experience, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or related field, attention to detail and high level of accuracy, Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations, Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools, Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy
Nice to Have
Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is an asset, Knowledge of payroll experience with Dayforce preferred
What You'll Do.
Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees
Ensure accuracy of timekeeping data
including hours worked
Maintain and update payroll records
Review and audit payroll data to ensure compliance with federal
and local regulations
Manage payroll adjustments such as retroactive pay and bonuses
Prepare payroll reports for management
Coordinate with HR on new hires
and employee status changes
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
garnishments. and benefit deductions
Manage year-end processing
including W-2’s and audits
Support system implementations related to payroll by providing payroll expertise
advising on requirements
and executing testing and validation activities
