As a Starbucks partner, you become part of something much bigger than just yourself. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 1,600 store partners, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies. You will play a key role in maintaining payroll data integrity, supporting audit readiness, and delivering high-quality payroll services across the organisation Key Responsibilities : Payroll Processing * End-to-end weekly payroll processing * Accurate calculation of wages, overtime, allowances, and deductions * Processing new starters, terminations, and employee changes * Responding to employee payroll queries (pay, leave balances, deductions) * Maintaining strict confidentiality of employee data * Processing and reconciling superannuation payments * Preparation and lodgement of statutory reporting * Payroll reconciliation prior to processing * General Ledger reconciliation of payroll accounts * Investigation and resolution of discrepancies * Supporting payroll system improvements and upgrades Reporting & Financial Support * Prepare payroll reports for finance and management * Assist with month-end and year-end reporting * Support audit requests with payroll data and documentation Acc
