Minor Hotels AU & NZ is a proud leader in strata titled accommodation management with numerous Hotels, Resorts and Residential Apartment buildings throughout Australia and New Zealand. Minor Hotels is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Head Office team in either Brisbane or Maroochydore, on a Part Time 30 hours per week fixed-term contract. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant end-to-end payroll processing across a portfolio of properties, while providing high-level customer service and support to employees and leaders. Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, legislative compliance and continuous process improvement within a high-volume, multi-site environment. Responsibilities Include: * End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll across a portfolio of properties * Managing Workers Compensation payments, Paid Parental Leave (Services Australia), and Child Support obligations (where applicable) * Maintaining payroll and leave systems, ensuring accurate employee records * Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements and contracts, including overtime and shift allowances * Processing new starters, variations, increases, back pays and termination payments * Calculating and reconciling annual leave and long service leave accruals * Assisting with month-end reporting, payroll tax, recon
