Minimum 3 years’ experience in high-volume payroll processing, understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards and compliance requirements, Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and urgency, High attention to detail and reconciliation skills, Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational and problem-solving abilities

What You'll Do.

End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll across a portfolio of properties

Managing Workers Compensation payments

Paid Parental Leave (Services Australia)

and Child Support obligations (where applicable)

Maintaining payroll and leave systems

ensuring accurate employee records

enterprise agreements and contracts

including overtime and shift allowances

Processing new starters

back pays and termination payments

Calculating and reconciling annual leave and long service leave accruals

Assisting with month-end reporting

reconciliations and General Ledger balancing

Preparing internal and statutory payroll reporting

Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and managers

Supporting payroll compliance

audits and ad hoc projects as required
