**Reporting to:** Senior Payroll Manger **Location:** 5 Queensway **Contract:** 6-9 month Fixed term - Full Time ** _YOUR ROLE @ CHANEL _** As our Payroll Officer, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring every CHANEL employee is paid accurately, compliantly, and on time. Your expertise will safeguard statutory obligations in line with HMRC legislation and internal controls, and fuel seamless payroll operations—making a real difference in the everyday experience of our teams. **_WHAT IMPACT CAN YOU CREATE AT CHANEL_** * Administer the full monthly payroll process, from start to finish, guaranteeing accuracy every step of the way. * Accurately reconcile all elements of compensation, including salary, overtime, bonus, commission, statutory payment calculations. * Administer our range of salary sacrifice schemes (pension, cycle to work, etc.), supporting employee choice and wellbeing. * Administer company benefits impacting payroll (e.g. BIK, private medical, company cars). * Ensure meticulous compliance with PAYE, NIC, student loans and attachment of earnings – keeping us aligned with HMRC requirements. * Manage pension auto-enrolment processes, staying ahead of regulatory changes, and in line with The Pensions Regulator standards. * Support year-end payroll activities and reporting, making sure we close the year with confidence. * Reconcile payroll reports prior to sign-off, upholding the highest level of accuracy and accountability. * Maintain awareness of UK payroll legislation changes. * Collaborate closely with HR and Finance, acting as a trusted partner and payroll expert, ensuring accurate data flow. * Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies. * Prepare payroll reports for Finance and senior stakeholders. * Act as first point of contact for payroll queries, handling each query with care and accuracy, and providing clear explanations to employees regarding pay and deductions where required. * Liaise with HMRC and third parties when required. * Support payroll sys
