Must Have

Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting, knowledge of payroll principles, tax laws, and reporting requirements, Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office applications, Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism

Nice to Have

preference for multi-state or complex environment payroll, Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, Payroll certification (e. g. , CPP, FPC) is a plus

What You'll Do.

Manage the entire payroll cycle from data collection to payroll processing and distribution.

Ensure compliance with all federal

and local payroll regulations and tax laws.

Maintain and update payroll records and employee information.

Coordinate with HR and accounting departments on payroll issues and reconciliations.

Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports accurately and on time.

Conduct periodic audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.

Stay current with changes in payroll laws and technology to keep payroll operations up-to-date and efficient.

Supervise payroll staff

and provide training as necessary.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
