Full Job Description
## Accountabilities In this role, you will own end-to-end payroll and benefits operations across multiple countries while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience: Process and maintain accurate payroll data across the US (including California), Canada, and the UK, including wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and PTO. Prepare and validate weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles, ensuring timely and compliant execution across all jurisdictions. Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and journal entry reviews to ensure data integrity and financial accuracy. Manage year-end reporting and filings including W-2s, T4s, P60s, and other statutory requirements across regions. Ensure compliance with jurisdiction-specific regulations, including California wage and hour laws, Canadian federal/provincial payroll requirements, and UK PAYE and National Insurance obligations. Administer employee benefits programs across all three countries, including health plans, retirement programs, and statutory leave entitlements. Reconcile benefits deductions and vendor invoices while supporting open enrollment and employee lifecycle changes. Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Support onboarding and payroll setup for acquired employees, ensuring seamless transitions and data integrity. Maintain and improve payroll and benefits SOPs while supporting HRIS upgrades and process automation initiatives. Requirements This role requires strong technical payroll expertise across multiple jurisdictions, combined with a high level of accuracy, compliance awareness, and employee support capability: 2+ years of payroll and benefits experience, including exposure to hourly and non-exempt employee populations.
